Overview
Extending a site that already had a look
Plytrix is an analytics consultancy that helps fast-growing companies turn their data into decisions, from data stack checkups to marketing and e-commerce analytics. The homepage and brand were already in place: deep navy, soft lilac and an isometric "data stack" illustration.
Working with Balint Studio, I designed a set of the site's inner pages: services and solutions, technology partners, case studies, the blog, playbooks, about and FAQ. The job was to make them feel like part of the same site while giving each page a clear structure of its own.
Note
The Plytrix website is no longer online. What's shown here is from my design files.
Explorations
Three directions for the About page
For the About page I explored three ways to open it. All three use the same content and components. What changes is what the visitor meets first.
- A
People firstA split hero with a photo of a real person, followed by the "Welcome to Plytrix" story and the data stack illustration.
- B
Story firstThe intro sits right next to the title, and a large video overlaps the hero, so the "who we are" text is visible straight away.
- C
Video firstA centred title and a full-width video, with the story and illustration further down.
